Yan Tai ...

Went to Yan Tai, China from 23 to 25 September 2007. My First ever trip to China courtesy of WTO and it was during fasting month! Luckily, the flight was midnight thus managed to enjoy some snacks provided by MAS. I always love flight food, dunno why and can't explain it. Perhaps the packaging!

Anyway, arrived in Beijing really-really early in the morning and have about 5 hours to kill before boarding the next flight to Yan Tai. So I detoured to Beijing!

Time was limited thus constraint myself around Tianamen Square. Capture some beautiful photos though. The weather was fine and the people .... MANY! Full stop.

Before leaving Beijing for Yan Tai, tried to contact a friend of mine in Beijing, Sun Sun, however she was unavailable since she have to go to some other province.

Yan Tai is beautiful. A coastal city. Hotel was infront of the open sea and I got a seaview room which was nice. Unfortunately, rain every night so unable to go anywhere throughout my stay in Yan Tai. Break fast was at 5.50pm and took my Sahur 3.30am which was soooo unusual for me.

Things in Yan Tai:

1. Firecrackers were everywhere and almost everytime. Really!

2. Big vineyard, surprising!

3. Produced good wine (so they said!)

4. Seafood was bloody cheap, RM300 for 11 big dishes!

5. Nobody speaks English in a 5 star Hotel!
